This is my contest entry for

's contest. You had to design Bane's mate (aka Nightingale's mother). She's the one on the far left. I drew Nightingale as a puppy because 1. I thought it would be cute and 2. I assume if there was ever a time her mother would be there in her life, it's definitely as a puppy. Doesn't Bane look so proud?! XD

Normally, I don't enter contests like these (far too much school work ugh), but I jumped on the opportunity. I thought it would be really cool to design her, plus, I like the idea of winning a cameo in LOTN.

Unfortunately, this pic did not turn out as well as planned. I guess I was kinda rushed. I also used really bad coloring pencils. AND it isn't easy to color details and such on such a small piece of paper (I used my tiny travel drawing book for this). Bad idea. But because I was limited on time, I wanted it to be portable enough.

So the end result is a blurry, scratchy, off color drawing. Poop. I wanted Bane's mate to be grayer in color. At least the fur design worked out ok. But Nightingale puppy turned out to be a mess. Her facial expression is just weird now, though I really blame the paws. D:<
